I don’t like this you tube is better for everything

Two many ads in between songs. You will like an explicit version of the song and it will show the censored one on the music app. Shows wrong amount of likes and comments and will only fix itself if you restart the app. I had to cancel YouTube premium it’s not worth it anymore.

It’s fine other than u can’t even listen to ur downloads unless u have yt music premium like what’s the point it’s so annoying.

I love the app, everything works and is amazing. I’m just hoping and praying you guys make this app accessible on game systems. Because I already got YouTube premium and really don’t wanna pay for Spotify or Apple Music. Just to make my playlist all over again. So if y’all could please make it possible. I know for a fact y’all would get even more YouTube premium subscribers just because it would be accessible on game systems

My friend and I love to make different kinds of playlists together in which we always collaborate by sharing the link seamlessly. But now I tried to make a new one and it’s not working at all. I already restarted my phone twice, I tried to share from the YouTube app itself, and I even switched accounts but it doesn’t work. My friend said it’s not working on her end either

It’s pathetic not being able to listen with the screen off for free and getting ads after literally every song. Trash

I can’t listen to any song because it will stop suddenly.

This app is very misleading. Unlike its competitors; Youtube Music in the year of 2025 is still unable to allow a user with an Apple Watch stream music from the watch device. It is so annoying and idiotic. When you use the YouTube Music app on the Apple Watch all it does it control the music being played from your iPhone. Google hasn’t changed this capability because they are lazy. Apple Music’s competitors such as Spotify allow is this capability. You can’t blame Apple. It is entirely Google’s fault. Smh

I purchased the song but I can’t play it if I am not connected in the internet?? Sound scums

Occasionally the app will crash and is slow to search songs. I have this problem constantly when using the app. Other than that I like the app.

I have a playlist with more than 50 songs. When i play it, just 24 songs is played. Then it automatically paused. I have to open app and select play playlist again every time

As a Rapper I like how the lyrics are in sync

The app is great if it were to not have me pay every month. Don’t get me wrong, it is totally fine for a company to need money in return for perks, but this is straight up overkill; you need to pay to do pretty much any basic functions of a music app, like close the app and have the music still playing. Unless you want to pay the price, this is indistinguishable from normal youtube in 99% of circumstances, only difference is that it uses a tiny bit less data.

My YouTube music AND regular YouTube app WILL NOT PLAY without WiFi connection. I have uninstalled, called my carrier, and nothing helps. ONLY WIFI!!!! I pay for this subscription. HELP!!!!!!

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Leave it to YouTube to charge you to listen to anything minimized/in the background. Perhaps if there was anything of value on the app I could try before handing over my money, I would’ve considered it. Lost a customer for life

I’ve been using YouTube music since before google merged, and it’s been great, but why must we push AI into the mix? I can’t use the images on my phone for playlist covers? They have to be either the covers of the top 4 songs, or an ai image?? Very odd, not to mention the cover image doesn’t even update when the top 4 covers change. Very nitpicky, I know, but it feels very forced.

I use this app everyday, I had changed from different music apps trying to find the best one, and I found it! It will connect to your YouTube channel, and when you go on YouTube, you can see your searches, and if you search music on YouTube can will see it in YouTube music. All I have to say is “👌”

They recently updated the app. I usually listen to my music through my like list, but for some reason doesn’t show all the songs I liked. It would only show 20 songs in my like list. Now do I have to go through a scavenger hunt to find the songs that I liked in order? Bring it back! I want to see ALL of my songs in my Like list!

Hello! So.. I originally didn't use YouTube music at all because I could play most videos and songs in the background with just YouTube, but then that changed during this year, so now you can only background play with music, in an app for entertainment. So I downloaded YouTube music, not knowing I couldn't play music in the background without premium after a month of using it. Now I can't do background play with Youtube because it's only available in premium? IN A MUSIC APP?! This feature only makes it less of an actual music app and more of a copy of YouTube itself. It honestly seems like a waste to even have this app exist if you can't even play music on the go, especially if you can't pay for it monthly or only use this app for music. What I'm trying to ask is one thing as a suggestion/request. PLEASE add background play to YouTube music and YouTube!! I would give this app five stars if I just had that back!

I love this app but recently it doesn’t want to play no music , if I change a song , it takes forever to load sometimes it doesn’t even play , please fix this !! I do not want to cancel my subscription.

Literally a music app that cannot play a single piece of music because of how glitchy it is due to a recent update. What is the point of having this app and keeping the subscription then?

Overall it’s good and stuff but, the main thing I don’t like about it is that we need premium to keep the app open and play music. Know for him that basic thing u need.

Every time I use YouTube music I can’t go on other apps. Why do I have to buy premium? Spotify runs in background while you using other apps without premium.

Consistently interrupting listener experience with commercials and unwarranted questions about if you’re still listening. I don’t need the app to stop playing something in the right in the middle of song, etc, that I clearly want to be played… asking me if I’m still listening, ruining my experience. I’m really sick of this app. Deleting, in fact.

A good 50% of the time u want to use this app a feature like the queue wont work or entire app will freeze when trying to search a song. The fact that this is a product im paying for that doesnt work half the time is crazy. I only still have the app on my phone because it comes free with youtube premium

I Absolutely how I choose a song and YouTube creates a playlist with similar songs. I’ve found so many amazing artists and songs through YouTube premium. You can create your own playlist but it’s so nice to just sit back sometimes and let YouTube Music choose it for you!

I got on YouTube Music one morning and it said sorry go to downloads and I said OK let’s go to the App Store and update. It still doesn’t work. Hey YouTube Music I have a clue for you. Don’t do stupid stuff.

Worked great for a few months now it won’t play songs consistently while driving very inconsistent

I have both put Spotify and obviously YouTube music. The major difference, but I’ve noticed is you can in the middle of a song switched to watching the music video exactly where the song is. My favorite thing is when you start a radio station that plays music that is new too not just music at the same genre that you have like before.

Instead of making their own product better, they use sneaky tactics to get their competition off of the App Store

I love YouTube music but it doesn’t have to be updated every week once a month would be good enough. And every time you update it doesn’t make it any better because when I go to download a song it takes to long for the song to start downloading.

I mean it’s better than Spotify because to be honest most people rather post their songs on YouTube only or Spotify and YouTube so you have more songs than you would on Spotify atleast I think and also vocaloid songs actually exist on here so I mean i like it way better and it’s also ten times more like easy to understand than any other music app I’ve used .W.

Your songs will randomly pause itself. Library is unorganized. It's hard to search your music while you are driving. It's not A to Z. Music library loads really slow and crashes alot. Better off with apple music.

Stopped working randomly yesterday. Why am I paying monthly for this?

My music is always pausing and the app will randomly lag. Getting kind of tired of it

advertisement after each and every song. when you click a song it purposely plays the one above it. ridiculous

It's not working like it it used to be. It will play a song and stops at the 10 second mark and wait for it to load 10-20 seconds later...that's on every freaking song. Please fix it

every time i open the app to play music about 15 seconds into the first song i play, it pauses for no reason. Another thing is i’ll be listening to music and i’ll skip a song and the app will just close itself and i have to reboot the app and having to find a new playlist of songs.

My music does not work at all, and when I say this I mean when I press play it won’t play. Sometimes it even just plays but stops playing, so I can barely listen to my music. Please fix this bug.
